PPPoker is a mobile poker app launched in 2016 where games take place inside private clubs rather than in an open lobby. The app is published by AceKing Tech Limited and is free to install on Android, iPhone, Windows and Mac. Crucially, the app itself does not take deposits and does not pay out winnings: all real-money arrangements are handled by clubs, unions and their agents, outside the app.

I'm Richard Hamilton, and this is my PPPoker review after more than five years playing club poker on my phone — as a club member and as a club manager. A fair review of PPPoker has to separate three things that most reviews blur together: the app (software), the clubs (communities) and the agents (the people who handle your money). My verdict is below, and so is the exact method and math behind my score.

Quick verdict: Good for mobile players who join a club with people they trust. Be careful with unverified agents — they hold the money, not the app. Not for anyone under 21 or anyone who needs a built-in cashier. Our rating: 3.8 / 5 — an editorial score; see how we calculated it.

How We Reviewed PPPoker

I don't like review scores that appear out of thin air, so here is exactly how this one was built. I installed and played the app on Android and iPhone, and used the PC client. I read the official pages at pppoker.net and the current Google Play, App Store and Steam listings, and I wrote down the store ratings with the date I checked them. I then read player feedback in store reviews and in community discussions on Reddit and the Two Plus Two forum, and I compared PPPoker with other club apps (PokerBros, ClubGG, KKPoker) on structure only — not on traffic or rakeback claims, because the numbers published by affiliates contradict each other.

The review scores six weighted criteria, listed in the rating section. Three disclosures: this site is independent of the publisher and of any club; the only call to action on this page is our AI-assistant call-out; and we do not rank or promote specific clubs or agents here.

PPPoker is best described as a platform for private poker clubs. Instead of one operator running all tables, the app gives club owners the tools to build their own communities — each with its own stakes, rules and player base. Clubs can also join unions, which pool tables from many clubs into bigger player pools.

The publisher has also run live events under the PPWC (PPPoker World Championship) brand.

How PPPoker Works: Clubs, Unions and Agents

This is the part most reviews get wrong, and the part that matters most for your money. There are four layers:

  1. The app (AceKing Tech Limited) provides the software: tables, chips accounting, security features. It does not operate games for its own account and it does not hold player funds.
  2. The club owner creates a club, sets the rules — stakes, rake, formats — and builds the player community. You join with a Club ID.
  3. The union joins multiple clubs together so their tables share traffic. A small club on its own might not fill a PLO table; inside a union it can.
  4. The agent is the person who sells you chips, processes deposits and payouts, and arranges rakeback. This happens outside the app, in chats or messengers.

PPPoker does not hold your money. When you "deposit", you send money to a club's agent and receive chips in the app. When you cash out, the agent pays you. The app only mirrors the chip balance. This means the financial risk sits with the agent and the club — not with the app's publisher. When I first understood this, it changed how I chose clubs: I stopped asking "is the app good?" and started asking "who exactly is holding my balance, and can I verify them?". We cover each layer in depth: clubs, agents, rakeback and how real money works.

Games and Features

The formats named in the official store listings are No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha (including PLO5 in many clubs), Open-Face Chinese and Short Deck. Recent builds have added regional formats: Tongits appears in recent mobile updates and Drawmaha is mentioned in Steam news.

Features that stand out in daily play:

  • Multi-tabling: up to 3 tables on mobile and up to 10 table windows on the PC client (per the Steam page).
  • Disconnect Protection: if your connection drops, you get extra time to act instead of being folded or blinded off.
  • Portrait-first design: tables are built for one-handed phone play, with the lobby and filters optimised for small screens.
  • Account sync: the same account works across phone, tablet and PC.

One honest caveat: availability depends on the club. A format listed in the app exists only if a club in your union runs it. Format rules and strategy tips live on our how-to-play page.

App, PC Version and Ratings

Store ratings, with the date we checked them:

Store Rating Reviews Checked on
Google Play ~4.4 ~53K reviews 13 October 2026
App Store (PH) ~4.8 ~74 ratings 13 October 2026
Steam "Positive" ~25 reviews 13 October 2026

My hands-on view: the interface is clean and genuinely mobile-first — portrait tables, a simple lobby with club and stake filters, and fast seat allocation. On PC the client feels like a faithful port rather than a native desktop room, but running up to 10 windows makes it a real option for multi-tablers.

One limitation to keep in mind: store ratings measure the app, not the clubs or agents. A player burned by a single agent's non-payment can still leave the app five stars, and a rigged-club dispute lands in the app's review section even when the publisher had nothing to do with it. Safety, Fairness and the Company Behind PPPoker

What the publisher claims. The App Store listing describes RNG-tested dealing, a dedicated anti-cheating team, big-data analysis of play patterns, and IP/GPS restrictions that club owners can enable — and quotes a "99.8% cheating detection" figure. Treat these as the publisher's own statements; we cannot independently confirm them. The official site also links a GLI certificate.

What we could verify. The publisher is AceKing Tech Limited, named on the App Store and Steam listings. The About page lists official contact emails: [email protected] (customer support), [email protected] and [email protected]. We found no public statement from the company naming its owners or founders.

On ownership: a 2019 report on Gambling911 named Adnan "NYPokerKing" Mohamad as the owner of a room operating under the PPPoker name. We could not verify this: the report does not tie him to AceKing Tech Limited, it relies on forum posts, and neither PPPoker nor the publisher confirmed it. Treat it as unconfirmed. Old forum threads from around 2019 also contained disputed claims about payouts at a room using the PPPoker name; we cover that history, with sources, on our is-PPPoker-legit-and-safe page.

On legality in the Philippines: we do not call PPPoker licensed or legal here — that question needs its own treatment, on the legit/safe page. And the main practical risk is not the software: it is the agent or club holding your money. Several competing review sites report cases of agents disappearing with player balances. That is exactly why we say: verify who you deal with before you send anything. If you cannot verify a club or agent, ask us through the contact form first.

What Players Say: Store Reviews, Reddit and Two Plus Two

We read public feedback rather than quoting individuals. The themes are consistent across thousands of store reviews and long community threads on Reddit and Two Plus Two:

Often praised Often criticised
Smooth, mobile-first play Suspected bots and "rigged" RNG runs
Many tables and formats via unions Very deep-stacked public tables
Free to install, easy club joining Gacha-style elements in the app
Publisher replies in store reviews Confusion about who handles payouts

On the critical side: many complaints about unfair dealing come from losing sessions — normal in poker — but the volume of bot and collusion suspicion is real enough that the publisher publicly replies that cards come from an RNG and that reports of bots and collusion are investigated. Some complaints actually concern clubs and agents, not the app, which again shows why the app/agent distinction matters. There is no official PPPoker wiki; for facts, rely on the official pages, not fan wikis. The full safety analysis, with sources, is on our legit/safe page.

PPPoker Pros and Cons

Pros Cons
Mobile-first design, built for phone play No cashier in the app — money moves through agents outside it
Many formats: NLH, PLO/PLO5, OFC, Short Deck Your financial safety depends on the agent's honesty
Up to 10 table windows on PC Club quality varies a lot; no universal standard
Wide choice of clubs and unions No single public lobby listing all clubs
One account syncs across phone and PC Recurring bot/collusion complaints from some players
Free to install and join clubs

The pattern in the table is the whole story of PPPoker: an unusually strong app wrapped around a money system the app does not control.

Our PPPoker Rating: 3.8 out of 5 (and How We Calculated It)

This is our editorial score. It is not an average of user ratings and not a guarantee of anything. It rates the app and the model around it — never any single club or agent, whose quality varies independently. Scale: 1–5, where 5 is excellent. Scores are draft values from my research; I confirm each after my own testing [REVIEW by Richard Hamilton].

Criterion Weight Score (draft) Contribution Why (one line)
Software and platforms 20% 4.4 0.88 Phone, iPad, Windows (Steam and installer), Mac installer; store ratings 4.4 (Google Play) and 4.8 (App Store PH); up to 10 table windows on PC
Games and formats 20% 4.6 0.92 NLH, PLO, PLO5, OFC, Short Deck and newer formats; depends on the club
Clubs and community model 15% 4.2 0.63 Wide choice of clubs and unions; quality varies; no single public lobby
Money transparency and agent risk 20% 2.8 0.56 No cashier in the app; deposits and payouts via agents outside the app; protection depends on the agent
Safety and fairness signals 15% 3.5 0.53 RNG/GLI and anti-cheat are the publisher's claims; no independent audit found by us; mixed player complaints
Support and company transparency 10% 3.0 0.30 Official support emails exist; owners not publicly named
Total 100% 3.8 0.88 + 0.92 + 0.63 + 0.56 + 0.53 + 0.30 = 3.82 → 3.8

How to read 3.8: a strong app with a structural risk. The software and game selection would rate near 4.5 on their own; the score is pulled down by one thing — money is handled by agents outside the app, so your real-world result depends on who you deal with. Change the weights and you change the outcome: if financial safety matters most to you, the score is lower; if you only care about software, it is higher. Last reviewed: 13 October 2026. We will re-score when the facts change.

PPPoker vs PokerBros, ClubGG and KKPoker: Apps Like PPPoker

All four apps share the same core idea: private clubs, agents, and money handled outside the app. So the comparison is about platforms, clients and listed formats — not traffic or rakeback, because published numbers contradict each other wildly (peak online is quoted anywhere from 2,200 to 20,000+ depending on the affiliate):

App Platforms PC client Formats named in listing Note
PPPoker Android, iOS, Windows, Mac Yes (Steam + installer) NLH, PLO, OFC, Short Deck + newer Deepest club/union ecosystem
PokerBros Android, iOS NLH, PLO, OFC Similar club model, different union network
ClubGG Android, iOS NLH, PLO Friendlier for casual club play
KKPoker Android, iOS NLH, PLO Newer app, growing club scene

My honest angle: choose the club and agent first, the app second. Since money moves outside the app, the person holding your balance matters more than the logo on the table. An alternative may fit better if: you already have a trusted club on PokerBros or ClubGG (stay where your network is), or a KKPoker club offers terms you can actually verify. We don't link to competing apps — this comparison is structural, not promotional.

Who PPPoker Is For: Our Verdict

Good for: players who join a club run by friends or an owner they can verify; mobile-first players who value portrait tables and one-account sync; PC multi-tablers who want up to 10 windows.

Be careful if: you cannot verify the agent handling your money; you expect a built-in cashier and official payout guarantees; you assume all clubs meet the same standard — they do not.

Not for: anyone under 21; anyone who relies on poker income to live; anyone tempted by "hacks", "mods" or guaranteed-profit schemes — those routes lead to stolen accounts, and we cover them only to warn you on our cheats/hacks page.

Play responsibly: poker involves real risk of loss, and no review, club or agent can promise winnings.

FAQ

What is PPPoker?

PPPoker is a mobile poker app launched in 2016 and published by AceKing Tech Limited. Games take place inside private clubs run by club owners; clubs can join unions for more traffic. The app is free and has no cashier — deposits and payouts are handled by club agents outside the app. See how PPPoker works.

Is PPPoker good? Is it worth it?

As software, yes — it is one of the most polished club poker apps, with strong store ratings (4.4 on Google Play, 4.8 on the PH App Store at our last check) and many formats. Whether it is worth it for you depends on the club and agent you choose, because they control your money. Our editorial score is 3.8/5 — see the breakdown.

Who owns PPPoker?

The publisher named in the stores is AceKing Tech Limited; official sources do not name individual owners or founders. A 2019 media report named a person as the owner of a room operating under the PPPoker name, but we could not verify it and neither the app nor the publisher confirmed it. Treat it as unconfirmed.

Is PPPoker real money?

Real money is involved, but not through the app. The app uses chips only; when you deposit or cash out, you deal with a club's agent outside the app. The app itself does not take or pay money. Full explanation on our real-money page.

How does PPPoker compare with PokerBros and ClubGG?

All three run the same club-and-agent model. PPPoker stands out for its club/union depth and PC client (up to 10 tables); PokerBros and ClubGG suit players whose trusted clubs already live there. We compare structure only — numbers published elsewhere conflict. See the comparison table.
