Mary Kim is the editor and fact-checker for all PPPoker guides on pppoker-ph.com. Before any page is published, she checks its facts against primary sources, its wording on money and safety, and its compliance with our editorial policy. Mary is not a lawyer and does not give legal or financial advice. Her name sits in the byline of every guide, next to the date of her last check. She works with author Richard Hamilton.

What Mary checks on every page

Every guide passes the same review before it goes live, and again after any significant update:

Facts against primary sources. Claims about the app are checked against the official Terms of Service and Community Rules, the Google Play, App Store and Steam listings, and the official PPPoker blog. The byline shows the date of the last check, not just the last edit.
Who says what. We separate "the publisher states" from "third-party sites report" from "we verified this ourselves". Anything we could not confirm stays marked as unverified or is removed.
Wording on money and safety. No page says "legal", "safe", "guaranteed" or "the best club or agent" without a stated basis. No page promises income from poker.
The money rule. The PPPoker app itself does not take deposits and does not pay out winnings. All deposits, payouts and rakeback are arranged with clubs and their agents, outside the app. Nothing is attributed to "PPPoker" that the publisher does not state.
Text safety. No instructions for cheating, bots or rule-bypassing, no names of hack tools and no links to shady sites. Our cheats and hacks page is a debunking guide, not a how-to.
People and organisations. No real names, accusations, criminal records or amounts. No Club IDs, agent or referral IDs and no agent contacts. Clubs are mentioned only generically.
Links. The only call to action on any page is an AI-assistant call-out that leads to Telegram, which is run by our partners. External links carry rel="nofollow noopener".
Age and responsible play. Every page carries the 21+ bar (higher than the stores' 18+) and the responsible-play disclaimers.

How Mary and Richard work together

The guides are written by Richard Hamilton, a club poker player with 5+ years on PPPoker, PokerBros and ClubGG. The process is fixed: Richard writes each page to a written brief, Mary checks the draft against the brief and the primary sources, every open question is either resolved or stays on the page as an explicit "unverified", the page is published with a "Last checked" date and any later change triggers a fresh check.

What stays outside Mary's role: legal expertise and any recommendation of clubs or agents. We do not give those, on any page. The full rules live in our editorial policy.

Corrections and updates

We try to get every page right, and we fix what we get wrong. If you spot a factual error, an outdated listing detail or a mention of a club or person that should be corrected or removed, tell us through the contact form. We check the claim against the primary source, correct the page if needed and mark the change with a new "Last checked" date. Significant corrections are logged in the editorial policy, so a fixed mistake stays visible as fixed and is not silently rewritten.
