Yes — there are official ways to play PPPoker on a computer. As of today you have three official routes: the Steam version for Windows (released 17 June 2026), the official Windows installer (.msi) and the official macOS installer (.dmg) — both downloaded from pppoker.net. An Android emulator is a backup option, not a requirement.
I'm Richard Hamilton. I've played club poker for more than five years, and these days I do most of my sessions on a computer — several table windows open at once, which is exactly what the PC version is built for (up to 10 tables on desktop, versus 3 on mobile). This page compares every way to get PPPoker running on Windows and Mac, with step-by-step installs, the real system requirements and an honest word about emulators. One warning up front: a lot of older articles and blog posts still claim "there's no PPPoker for PC" or push you straight to an emulator — that advice is outdated. Playing on your phone instead? Start at our download hub or the iPhone/iPad page.

Money: the app itself does not take money and does not pay out winnings. All real-money arrangements — deposits, payouts, rakeback — are handled by clubs and unions, specifically by their agents, outside the app. The "In-App Purchases" label refers to in-app units like chips and diamonds, not cashouts.
Which Way to Play PPPoker on PC Is Right for You?
There are more ways to run PPPoker on a computer than most guides admit. Here's every route that works in 2026, in one table — so you can pick in under a minute instead of reading five blog posts that contradict each other.
| Method | Where from | Works on | Official? | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steam version | Steam store | Windows | Yes | Most PC players — auto-updates, verified publisher |
| Windows installer | pppoker.net (.msi) |
Windows | Yes | Players who don't want Steam |
| macOS installer | pppoker.net (.dmg) |
Mac / MacBook | Yes | Mac users — the real desktop build |
| Google Play Games on PC | Google Play | Windows | Yes | Players already in the Google ecosystem |
| Android emulator | BlueStacks, LDPlayer, MEmu, MuMu | Windows / Mac | Third-party | Backup only, if nothing else works |
| iOS app on Apple-silicon Mac | App Store | Mac (M1/M2/M3) | Unverified | Not recommended — "Designed for iPad, not verified for macOS" |
My verdict after years of multi-tabling: start with Steam or the official installer from pppoker.net. They're the publisher's own builds, they update themselves, and you always know what you're running. An emulator adds a whole extra layer of software — more RAM usage, another vendor's update cycle, and (on some club setups) extra scrutiny — so treat it as the plan B, not the plan.
How to Install PPPoker on Windows
The official Windows client comes as a .msi installer from pppoker.net. The whole thing takes a few minutes:
- Open pppoker.net in your browser and scroll to the download section in the footer.
- Click the Windows download and save the
.msifile. - Run the installer — double-click the file and confirm if Windows asks for administrator rights.
- If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, check before you click. Confirm the file came from pppoker.net and the publisher details look right, then proceed. SmartScreen is doing its job; a one-time confirmation for a file from the official site is normal.
- Finish the installation and launch PPPoker from the new desktop shortcut.
- Log in with your existing account or register a new one.
Windows 10 is the practical baseline. The Steam client itself requires Windows 10 or later, and while the Steam page lists Windows 7 as the game minimum, a machine still on Windows 7 in 2026 is a security risk for a poker account regardless of what any game supports.
Do not turn off your antivirus or firewall to install PPPoker. You'll find this advice in older agent blogs — it's a bad habit that leaves your whole machine exposed, and you never need it for the official installer. If your antivirus blocks the file, the answer is to re-download from pppoker.net and double-check the source — not to lower your defenses. If a download page asks you to disable protection, send us the link through the contact form before you touch anything.

PPPoker on Steam (Windows)
The Steam version is the newest official route — PPPoker landed on Steam on 17 June 2026, published by AceKing Tech Limited. If you already have Steam, this is the smoothest install on Windows:
- Install the Steam client from steampowered.com and sign in (or create a free account).
- Search "PPPoker" in the store and open the store page — confirm the developer reads AceKing Tech Limited before you continue.
- Click Play Game on the store page — it's Free to Play, so no purchase step.
- Let Steam install and update it automatically, then launch from your library.
- Log in with your PPPoker account (it syncs with your phone) or register a new one inside the app.
What the PC version adds: the store page advertises up to 10 table windows at once — that's the headline feature for grinders. Mobile caps you at 3 tables, so the jump is real. Your account also syncs across devices: start a session on your phone, continue on the desktop client. As of our check date the page shows a "Positive" recent-review status with 25 reviews; we quote that as-is from the store page rather than inventing a rating.
10 windows vs 3 tables on mobile — the Steam page lists up to 10 table windows on PC. If you're coming from phone play, don't jump straight to 10; see my notes on multi-tabling below.
PPPoker for Mac and MacBook
Yes, there's an official macOS build — pppoker.net offers a Mac installer (.dmg) alongside the Windows one. You may see poker sites claim "no macOS version" — that was true once, and those pages simply haven't been updated since the desktop installers appeared.
- Open pppoker.net and download the Mac version (
.dmg). - Open the downloaded
.dmg— it mounts as a disk image. - Drag the PPPoker app into your Applications folder.
- On first launch, macOS Gatekeeper may warn that the app was downloaded from the internet. If — and only if — the file came from pppoker.net, right-click the app → Open to confirm. Never override Gatekeeper for a file from anywhere else.
- Log in with your account (it syncs with your phone) or create a new one.
Two honest caveats. First, the Steam page lists Windows-only requirements, so don't assume the Steam route covers Mac — the .dmg from pppoker.net is the Mac route. Second, the App Store iOS app is labelled "Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS" — Apple-silicon Macs may run it, but it isn't confirmed, and I won't promise it works. Use the official .dmg instead.
Gatekeeper is your friend. The right-click → Open step exists so that a random downloaded app can't run silently. Confirm the source is pppoker.net and proceed; if the file came from a forum, a club chat or a "PPPoker Pro" site — delete it.
System Requirements for PPPoker on PC
These are the requirements listed on the official Steam store page — not the inflated numbers you see on emulator sites:
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 7 | Windows 10 |
| Processor | Intel Pentium Dual E2180 2.0 GHz | Intel Core i5 2.4 GHz |
| Memory | 2 GB RAM | 4 GB RAM |
| Graphics | GeForce GT 430 / Radeon HD 2600XT | GeForce GT 430 / Radeon HD 2600XT |
| DirectX | Version 10 | Version 10 |
| Network | Broadband connection | Broadband connection |
| Storage | 1 GB | 2 GB |
The game itself is light — any computer from the last decade meets the minimum on paper. The practical floor is Windows 10, because the Steam client requires it and Windows 7 no longer receives security updates, which matters when a poker account is involved. One note from my own setup: those requirements cover one client. If you plan to multi-table heavily or run table-management tools, more RAM and a stable wired or strong Wi-Fi connection will do more for your session than any CPU upgrade.
Do You Need an Emulator? BlueStacks, LDPlayer, MEmu and MuMu
Short answer: probably not anymore. Before June 2026 an emulator was the only way to get PPPoker onto a PC, which is why the top Google results for "pppoker download pc" are still emulator marketing pages. Now that official desktop clients exist, an emulator is a backup — the route you take when the official installs genuinely don't work on your machine.
If you do end up using one, a few rules keep you out of trouble:
- Install the emulator from its own official website — BlueStacks, LDPlayer, MEmu and MuMu all have one. Avoid "cracked" or "modded" emulator builds from file-sharing sites.
- Install PPPoker from Google Play inside the emulator — the package is
com.lein.pppoker.android. Never install a "PPPoker Pro", "mod" or "hacked" APK; that's the fastest route to a stolen account. - Budget extra RAM. The emulator runs a whole Android system on top of Windows, so a machine that's comfortable with 4 GB for the native client will feel tight.
A word of honesty about emulator marketing: three popular emulator sites list three different requirement sets for PPPoker — 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB of RAM. Those numbers tell you about the emulator vendors' marketing minimums, not about PPPoker's actual needs (see the official table above). And when an emulator site calls itself "safe and legal", that's the vendor grading its own homework — we don't repeat it.
| Emulator | Typical claim | Our note |
|---|---|---|
| BlueStacks | Windows 7+, 4 GB RAM | Solid, but heavier than the native client |
| LDPlayer | Win 10 64-bit, 8 GB RAM, GTX 1050 Ti | Overstated for PPPoker — that's marketing |
| MEmu | Windows 7+, 2 GB RAM | Lightest on paper; official client is still lighter |
Also check your club's rules before running anything extra — some clubs restrict third-party tools, and the consequences land on your account, not the emulator vendor. Questions about HUDs and trackers belong on our software page — that's a separate discussion, and nothing here is botting or automation advice, which we don't give.
PPPoker on Linux and Steam Deck
No official Linux client exists as of this writing. The Steam store page lists Steam Deck compatibility as "Unknown" rather than supported or unsupported. Unofficial workarounds — running the Android app through a Linux emulator or the Windows client through compatibility layers — exist, but we don't test or support them, and a poker account is not the place to experiment with untested setups. If you're on Linux and want PPPoker, the honest answer is: use your phone, or a Windows/Mac machine.
Playing on Several Devices and Tables
The reason to play on PC is simple: more tables, one account.
| Mobile | PC (Steam/desktop client) | |
|---|---|---|
| Tables at once | Up to 3 | Up to 10 |
| Screen | One small touchscreen | Full monitor(s) |
| Same account | — syncs across devices |
One account works everywhere: log in on your phone at lunch, on the PC in the evening — your clubs, balance (in chips) and settings carry over. My advice from running multi-table sessions: start with two tables, not ten. Ten windows only help if your decision-making keeps up and your connection holds; a dropped connection mid-decision costs more than the extra tables earn. Club rules, table caps and rake all still apply exactly as on mobile — the PC version changes your screen, not the game.
After You Install: Account, Club and First Game
Once the client opens, the next steps are the same as on mobile:
- Log in or register inside the app and note your Player ID — clubs and support will ask for it.
- Get a Club ID from a club owner or their agent. That's how you join games; there's no open public lobby for cash tables.
- Settle the money questions in writing before you play: rake, rakeback, deposits and payouts are handled by your club or union through its agent — never by the app itself.
New to the club model? Read our login & registration guide for account setup, the clubs guide before you join one, and keep the troubleshooting page handy for launch errors and connection issues.
Know before you play: 21+ · Deposits, payouts and rakeback are arranged with your club's agent, outside the app · Poker involves real financial risk — never play for more than you can afford to lose.
