The safest way to download PPPoker on Android is Google Play, where the app is listed as "PPPoker-Home Games" by publisher PPPOKER. If Google Play does not show the app on your device, the second safe option is the official APK from pppoker.net — the publisher's own website. Everything else (third-party APK sites, links from chats) is a second choice at best and a scam at worst.
I'm Richard Hamilton. Over the past five years of club poker I've installed PPPoker on half a dozen Android phones — mine, my wife's, a backup device — and the same three things go wrong every time: the app doesn't appear in the store for the region, the phone runs out of storage mid-install, or someone hands a player a fake file from a chat. This guide walks you through both official install paths step by step, shows you how to check a file before you open it, and covers compatibility and updates. iPhone and PC have their own pages — you'll find links below.

The last row matters more than it looks: you'll see conflicting numbers for version, file size and minimum Android on mirror sites (I have seen the same app listed at 7 MB, 212 MB and 437 MB). The only numbers worth trusting are the ones Google Play shows for your device.
Where to Download PPPoker Safely: Official Sources vs Mirror Sites
My rule after years of installing poker apps: Google Play or the link on pppoker.net — nothing else. Both are controlled by the publisher, so the file you get is the file they built, and it arrives with automatic updates and a Play Protect scan.
Third-party APK catalogs are a different story. I don't accuse any specific site of bad intent, but the structural problem is real: a mirror re-hosts a copy of the app it cannot fully control, and its listing can lag behind the official version or show data that doesn't match the real build. That's how you end up with one app published at three different sizes on three different sites. If the publisher ships an update, the mirror updates when it updates — sometimes days later, sometimes with a different package wrapper (that's the "XAPK" format you'll see on some of them). For a poker app tied to your account and your club, I'd rather not take that detour.

How to Download PPPoker from Google Play (Step by Step)
This is the install path I recommend for almost everyone. It takes about two minutes:
- Open Google Play on your Android phone.
- Search "PPPoker-Home Games". The store sometimes shows listing variants of the name, so check the result details, not just the title.
- Confirm the publisher before you tap Install: the developer name should read PPPOKER, and the listing should show 1M+ downloads and the package
com.lein.pppoker.android. - Tap Install and wait — the app is fairly large, so use Wi-Fi if your data is limited.
- Open the app from the Play page or your home screen.

"I can't find PPPoker on Google Play" — run this checklist before giving up:
- Check your Android version against the requirement shown on the Play listing (see the compatibility section below).
- Make sure Google Play itself is updated (Play Store → profile → Settings → About → update if offered).
- Check you have a few GB of free storage; a full phone silently blocks installs.
- Try signing out and back in to your Google account on the device.
- If the app still doesn't appear, availability can differ by country and account — that's when the official APK in the next section is your fallback.
A Philippine GCash account or any local payment setup is not needed for the download itself — the app installs free.
How to Download the PPPoker APK from the Official Site
Sometimes Google Play isn't an option: an older phone, a region mismatch, or a device without the Play Store. In that case, install the APK directly from the publisher:
- Open pppoker.net in your phone's browser and check the address bar — you want exactly
pppoker.net, not a look-alike domain. - Tap the Android / APK download button on the site.
- When Android asks, allow "Install unknown apps" for that browser only. This permission is per-app — you're enabling it for Chrome (or whatever browser you used), not for everything on the phone.
- Open the downloaded file from the notification or your Downloads folder and tap Install.
- Turn the "Install unknown apps" permission off again. Seriously — flip it back right after the install finishes.

Turn it off again. The "install unknown apps" permission is the single biggest hole in Android security. Leaving it on for your browser means any malicious site can prompt you to install things later. Install, then switch it back off.
Two practical notes from my own installs. First, check the file source before you allow anything: the APK should have come from a page on pppoker.net. If a file arrived as a chat attachment or a link in a Telegram group, delete it — the publisher never distributes the app that way. Second, you may see "XAPK" files mentioned on mirror sites — that's a wrapped package format some catalogs use. You do not need an XAPK for the official install; the direct APK from pppoker.net is enough. And because Play won't auto-update a sideloaded app, re-check the download page occasionally and install the newer build the same way.
Fake, Mod and "Pro" PPPoker APKs: How to Spot Them
Search "pppoker apk" and half the results promise magic: x-ray vision, unlimited diamonds, "Pro" unlocked. None of it is real, and most of it is dangerous — a modded poker APK is either a credential thief or an account ban waiting to happen. Here's my six-point red-flag checklist:
- The listing or filename says "hack", "x-ray", "mod", "unlimited diamonds", "Pro" or "Premium".
- The installer or a "login" screen asks for your password, OTP or email code outside the official app.
- The link arrived in a chat — Telegram group, Facebook message, YouTube description.
- The publisher is not PPPOKER.
- The package name differs from
com.lein.pppoker.android. - The site bundles the download with a "crack tool", "unlocker" or extra APK.
Safe signs, by contrast: source is Google Play or pppoker.net · publisher PPPOKER · package com.lein.pppoker.android · Play Protect reports no issues.
To our knowledge there is no official "PPPoker Pro" app — "pppoker pro" exists only as a search phrase, and any APK selling you one is not from the publisher. If you already installed something suspicious: uninstall it, change your PPPoker and Google passwords, run a Play Protect scan (Play Store → profile → Play Protect → Scan), and only then reinstall from an official source. If you want the full debunk of "PPPoker hacks", it's on our cheats and hacks page. And if a file looks off, send it to us through the contact form before you open it — contact form.
Compatibility: Which Android Phones Can Run PPPoker?
Third-party sites disagree on the minimum Android version (6.0 on one catalog, 7.0 on another), which is exactly why I won't state a number here that I haven't confirmed from the Play listing on the day you read this. Open the Google Play listing on your own phone — if the app is offered for your device, it will say so, and that's the only compatibility check that matters.
Beyond that, my practical checklist before any install:
- Free storage: keep at least a couple of GB free — the app plus updates need room to breathe.
- Stable connection: install over Wi-Fi or solid mobile data; a dropped download corrupts the file.
- Updated system: run pending Android updates before installing — it kills a whole class of random install errors.
The newest builds add the Tongits card format — a game most Philippine players know well — so it's also worth updating an old install rather than carrying a stale version. On other devices: iPhone and iPad → iOS download page; Windows and Mac → PC download page.
After You Install: Account, Club and First Game
The install is the easy part; the first five minutes inside the app are where players get confused. Three things, in order:
- Create your account inside the app and write down your Player ID when it appears — support and clubs will ask for it.
- You need a Club ID to play cash games. PPPoker has no open cash lobby; games run inside private clubs. A club owner or agent gives you their Club ID, you apply from inside the app, and they approve you. Our clubs guide explains how to choose one, and the login & registration page covers account questions.
- Never pay a "club fee" before you understand the terms. Know the rake, the rakeback and the withdrawal process first — in writing.
If something goes wrong at any step — a stuck update, a login error, "maximum registrations reached" — the fixes are on our troubleshooting page. For anything account-related, the official support contact published in the store listing is [email protected].
Is the PPPoker Download Free?
Yes — the PPPoker app is free to download on Google Play and from pppoker.net. The Play listing shows in-app purchases, and it states plainly that the game does not offer real-money gambling.
Free to install ≠ free to play with money. The app itself takes no money and pays no winnings. Any real-money arrangement — deposits, payouts, rakeback — is made with a club or union and handled by their agent, outside the app. Never say "PPPoker pays out"; say "my club's agent handles it".
The details of how that arrangement works — and where the risk sits — are on our real-money page and the chips, diamonds and bonuses page.
